Summit CEO Hedley Aylott discusses Amazon’s record profits on BBC News

Retail giant Amazon has reported record quarterly profits of $2.53bn (£1.9bn) in the three months to the end of June 2018.

The figures mark a 12% increase in profits compared to the same period in 2017, and the growth has been attributed to increased online sales and growing demand for Amazon’s cloud computing services.

Summit CEO, Hedley Aylott, was invited onto the BBC’s Business Briefing to provide his expert opinion on Amazon’s continued rise and online retail dominance.
